Welcome to our Wirral Dental Practice 

Our ample parking and good road links mean that as Wallasey dentists we are able to offer high quality dentistry over a wide area of Merseyside, including Liverpool and the Wirral, as well as Chester, Cheshire and North Wales.

We are committed to the standards promoted by the Faculty of General Dental Practice(UK)- the academic home for general dental practice at the Royal College of Surgeons of England (see links).

Richard Furness  is  Deputy Chief Examiner for the MJDF.RCS (Eng) - the primary Postgraduate Diploma in the Career Pathway for dental graduates in the UK. Richard is also an examiner for the Faculty Diploma in Restorative Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is a Postgraduate Tutor for the Mersey Dental Deanery and a qualified clinical teacher.

She has been appointed a trainer for the one year postgraduate Dental Foundation Training scheme.  She has been appointed as a trainer for a further three years from August 2011. Dr Nicky Heath is her trainee.

FFGDP

Richard Furness was awarded FFGDP by examination -Fellowship of the Faculty of General Dental Practice -  in 2008. This is the highest qualification awarded by the Faculty.

FDS RCS

Richard was recently awarded an Honorary Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Faculty of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of England in recognition of services as a Senior Examiner.
